’Uzak İhtimal’’ has received numerous awards at local and international festivals, including Rotterdam Film Festival “Tiger Award”, Istanbul Film Festival and Adana Altın Koza Film Festival – “Best Director Award”.
The second film “Yozgat Blues” was completed in 2013 its first international demonstration took place at the San Sebastian Film Festival, the first national demonstration was at the Istanbul Film Festival. “Yozgat Blues” took awards of the best film at Adana Altın Koza and Malatya Film Festivals and the best Balkan awards at Sofya Film Festival.
At Oriental Department of Oxford University she wrote a thesis named ‘M St’ at At Fatma Aliye’s Narrative Authority.
The Doctor thesis made at Heidelberg University about Jean Rhys and named ‘’ Narrating from the Margins’’ was published at Rodopi Publishing House in 2011.
Now she is working over the progect on melancholy in contemporary texts and reguarly publishing criticism articles for films, books and art at ‘’Lacivert’’ Magazine and Daily Morning newspaper.
At age of 17-18 years he was sentenced to 7 years of prison in Sinop. After that Turgay Tanülkü finished actor education at High Department of State Conservatory Theater in Ankara.
He established theather groups in 11 Regional Central Prisons of Turkey. During some periods as member of Dokuz Eylül, Bilkent, Kültür University he was invoived in creating of theater groups in Konya, Kastamonu, Tokat and Isparta prisons.
During 1987-1989 – Turgay Tanülkü was a teacher at ”Role and Stage” classes at Dokuz Eylül University.
These days Tanülkü is still involved in providing theatre activities for prisoners and continue to be inspiration for many young people lives.
Under his leadership, Aljazeera Documentary Channel has won three international documentary festivals awards for best films; Aljazeera Documentary Channel has been voted their most popular documentary channel by the audience in the Midlist region.
Prior to this He has directed and assisted a number of documentary films and series with different TV channels and media firms, including short documentary films “a one way trip” and “the Egyptian Academy in Rome” , on documentary series “Boys and Girls” for SANA El Shark , “The guidance birth” for ART TV and “ the Daramaly’s Crisis” for MBC TV. .
His most recent documentary series directed and produced is “The islamists” in 18 episodes about the history of contemporary Islamic movements.
Ahmed Mahfouz has held a variety of other senior roles in films and advertisements productions, including directing series of documentary films for ART, MBC, and Qatar TV.
Massoud also played the “Sheikh” in the Turkish film Kurtlar Vadisi: Irak (Valley of the Wolves: Iraq), He is known in Syria for his appearance in many Syrian-made films, and writing and directing the theatre play Diplomasiyyoun, and was part of the Syrian Ministry of Culture’s National Theater’s 2002 season. He has appeared in the Syrian television miniseries The Chant of Rain, and in Haytham Hakky’s well known work Memories of the Forthcoming Age, and on the Syrian stage was an actor in August Strindberg’s Miss Julie. Most recently, he starred as the companion of Muhammad, Abu Bakr in MBC’s series Omar.
Massoud was born in a small village called Fejlit in Durakish, Tartus, Syria. He is married and has a son and a daughter. Massoud teaches Drama at both the Damascus Music and Drama School and Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts.
He has written ten books; three of which are on Jalaluddin Rumi and The Whirling Dervishes. “When You Hear Hoofbeats Think Of A Zebra,” considered a contemporary Sufi classic, was translated and published in Turkish in the summer of 2013. His memoir “Winter Harvest” was published in English by Timas and was translated into Turkish by Sufi Kitab Publishers. “Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi’s Forgotten Message, his most recent book has been published in both English and Turkish by Sufi Kitab Publishers in Istanbul in 2017. Friedlander’s paintings have been exhibited in New York and Cairo and along with his drawings and photographs are in several private collections. His paintings, drawings and photographs were exhibited at Cube-Arts Gallery in Dubai during the winter of 2014/2015.
His photographs on the dervishes of Turkey have become documentary classics and have been exhibited in New York, Cairo, Dubai, and London.
Friedlander’s documentary films which include “Rumi, The Wings of Love,” and “The Circles of Remembrance,” have been screened in film festivals worldwide. “Faisal, Legacy of a King,” had its world premiere in November of 2012 at the BAFTA Theatre in London and was an official selection of the Chagrin Falls Documentary Film Festival.
The Royal Islamic Institute of Strategic Studies has selected him as one of the 500 most influential Muslims in the category of Art and Culture.
Friedlander is a Professor Emeritus at The American University in Cairo.
She has expanded her experience field by receiving vocational trainings from various institutions and individuals. She has also received vocational training from master film directors and screenwriters such as Ömer Lütfi METE, Halit REFİĞ, Ümit ÜNAL, Safa ÖNAL and Birol GÜVEN. She is involved in scenario and film producing progects with the support of the Ministry of Culture.
She participated in many projects as script – dialogue writer, in various public institutions and non-governmental organizations she provides workshops and seminars in the field of “Film Analysis”, “Media Literacy” and “Script Writing”.
Ayşe Karaköse besides creating interaction and understanding of the importance between cinema psychology, religion and social life is a mother of 3 children.
During his school years he wrote short poems texts for Nazar chewing gum package inserts.
Getting high education at Kocaeli University he understood that his dreams do not belong to literature and switched to cinema.
He enrolled to BSF Academy (Academy of Science, Art and Philosophy) which was opened in Taksim where took studies for two years. In 2008 for scenario named Hüsn-ü Aşk Ya Da Yusuf’un Yolculuğu” he received support from the Ministry of Culture.
In order to gain technical basis he had been workind for 2 years at 3D animated cartoon sector.
During these 2 years with support of Ministry of Culture he had been scenario writer and film director for 2 3D animated cartoons – the 1st is 40 minutes film named “Fatih Sultan Mehmet ve İki Papaz” and the second is 48 minutes film named ‘Bizim Çiftlik’.
During 2010-11 years he was giving classes of scenario at Sultanahmet branch of Writers Union of Turkey.
Since 2010 until now Murat Çeri is the executve producer and program director of Culture &Art program named ‘‘Kültür Harmanı‘‘,13 series of internal production (TRTGAP) and 117 series of external production (TRTAVAZ) were already released. This program was deemed worthy of Special Prize at the 19th Traditional Motive Awards.
And again for TRTAVAZ he was the executve producer and program director at 26th part of program named ‘From Culture to Civilazation‘‘ (‘Kültürden Medeniyete’) and 22nd part of program named ‘Without Visa‘ at visiting of 8 countries.
In 2013 he has created a company named ‘‘Filimetre Yapım Medya Prodüksiyon‘‘ and decided to continue his proffesionaş life as film producer.

At present Yektacan Özçift is the chairman at Cinema Education Association and manager at Hayalet Mektebi Association of Cinema and Art.
After finising his higher education he worked as editor for a period of time, after that he founded “Şûle Yayınları”
In 1989 he created a magazine called “Merdiven Sanat”, in addition to this 24 pages magazine once in 2 months he started publishing a magazine about books and culture named “Kitaphaber”.
Managing these magazines he published poems, stories and articles.
Among the publications managed by Ural in 2005-2007 was a magazine named “Merdivenşiir”.
Between the years 2006-2012, A. Ali was the chairman at Istanbul Branch of Turkey Writers Union of (TYB) , and for a period was a member of the city theater repertoire board.

In his books and scenarious he managed to wide spead the Anadolu reagion culture. Currently he is doing his doctorate at the Faculty of Theology at Necmettin Erbakan University.
In 1985, he was appointed as a literature teacher at Sivas Ulaş High School, where he had been teaching Turkish and literature for two and a half years and at Sivas Sabancı High School for one year. In 1987, he was appointed to be assistant producer of TRT İzmir Television. He retired from TRT in 2010.
His first book ‘’Şehirleri süsleyen yolcu‘‘was publishedby Birlik Yayınları in 1986. And in the same year it won the Story of the Year award from Turkey Writers’ Union. Despite the fact that the main text was a story, it gave products in the form of novel, fairy tale, essay, research and interview.
The second story book ‘’Gerçeği İnciten Papağan‘‘ was published in 1992. It is the 70th love story book published by Yalsızuçanlar.
In addition to his literary works, some critical theoretical books about nature of cinema and television have also been published.
